With its Fellowship programme, CIRCE brings together young academics and practitioners from the cultural and creative economies from all over Europe, with a particular focus on promoting exchange with young experts from the United Kingdom after Brexit. Based on the potentials of the cultural and creative economies, the fellows explore and test new ways and creative solutions for dealing with the challenges of our time. The aim is to tap synergy effects in the interplay with other economic sectors and various policy fields and to identify opportunities for cooperation.
Twenty young scientists and 20 young entrepreneurs and creative professionals are selected as fellows and work on their scientific research projects and creative products or services for six months. The fellowship includes both financial support and a mentoring program with experts from the research labs. Regular analog and digital meetings focus on exchange and networking with other CIRCE participants.
