With the Creative Impact Fund, CIRCE offered practitioners from the cultural and creative economies the opportunity to implement their ideas or to take the next development step with their existing company. Funding was provided to individuals and companies that worked on new solutions for the challenges of our time, such as climate change, demographic changes and social inequalities. Particularly against the backdrop of Brexit and the associated risk of losing the know-how of British research and political strategy, the Creative Impact Fund aimed to contribute to the realization and further development of bold innovation projects and thus harness the full potential of the cultural and creative industries for dealing with current and future crises.
A total of up to 13 innovation projects were supported by the Creative Impact Fund from mid-April 2023 until the end of November 2023. The selected projects developed and tested best practices, the results of which will be shared and discussed with stakeholders from academia, economy and politics.
