Willkommen im FAQ-Bereich des CIRCE-Mentoring Programms

Hier sind häufig gestellte Fragen zum Mentoring Programm sowie zum Bewerbungsverfahren gelistet. Um die Gleichbehandlung aller Bewerber*innen zu gewährleisten, können wir keine individuellen Antworten auf Fragen per E-Mail oder Telefon geben. Alle eingehenden Fragen werden daher in diesem FAQ-Bereich öffentlich beantwortet und allen Interessierten zugänglich gemacht. Der FAQ-Bereich ist aktuell nur auf Englisch verfügbar.

Wir werden alle Bewerber*innen per E-Mail informieren, sobald wir neue Antworten bereitstellen. Um auf dem Laufenden zu bleiben, empfehlen wir E-Mails (einschließlich Spam-Ordner) regelmäßig zu überprüfen und diesen FAQ-Bereich gelegentlich zu besuchen.

Additional details about the concept format and any supplementary documents will be provided in the tender documents. These documents will become accessible on the e-tendering platform, DTVP, starting from April 16th, 2024.

Yes, there is a maximum length for CV and Concept:

  • CV with max. three pages referencing past projects related to your mentoring and the topic area chosen

  • Concept of max. 1 ½  pages without attachments describing your own mentoring approach. For further details on the content of the concept, please refer to the “Criteria” section on the Mentoring page.

More information will be available in the specifications and tender documents. These will be available during the application phase on the DTVP portal, starting on April 16th.

No, there is no age limit.

There are no issues regarding the division of residency between the UK and the US, provided that you can ensure full participation in all aspects of the Mentoring Programme, including attending the two in-person meetings in Berlin, which you will need to arrange on your own.

Having a more educator-based background is fine, as long as you can demonstrate some knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following four topics:

  1. Communities & Care: Promoting empowerment of communities, fostering inclusion and social justice for marginalised people/individuals, contributing to a more inclusive CCE but also to a more just world in general.

  2. Sustainability & Environment: Responding to climate crisis and biodiversity loss through sustainable practices within and through CCE.

  3. Democracy and Participation: Enhancing democratic processes and preserving, bolstering, and safeguarding democratic principles, institutions and practices in contemporary societies.

  4. CCE: Knowledge and expertise as a practitioner or an entrepreneur in the CCE

CIRCE compensates mentors with the respective fees they offer. Therefore, it is advisable that you specify your regular fees for the anticipated effort. CIRCE will make selection decisions considering both the quality and the cost of the bids.
