Transformative Governance – New Solutions for and with the cultural and creative economies

The Research Lab Berlin, anchored at u-institut, is dealing with parameters for transformation in governance structures in close cooperation with the creative economies. The focus lies on the overarching question: How can public structures better and more inclusively support people from the creative/innovative ecosystem who generate a positive impact on society, the environment and the economy? The u-institut is working with three research projects to generate insights from different perspectives. Through practice-oriented research, topics such as exclusion mechanisms in access to funding, equitable cultural policies or transformation through collective imagination practices are addressed.
